Alluster FAQ - General information
We are open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Except public holidays. If we aren't open when you need us, contact us and we will get back to you during our business hours.
We currently service most of the Metro Vancouver area. There may be an additional delivery fee for certain areas. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.
Storing with Alluster is meant to be easy. All you have to do is sign up for an account and schedule delivery for your required space. Our team will then show up at that time and load your items on one of our trucks to take to storage.
We provide up to two helpers free of charge for up to one hour to help load on three month or longer packages. Monthly storage packages will be charged a moving rate for the pick up and return of your items. The standard rate is $50.00 per person, per hour with a minimum of one hour. Travel time is excluded. Please note that not all orders will require two helpers.
When you need to have any of your items returned, just log in to your account and order whatever you need returned. The first return is free and any additional trips are just $25.
Need to put something back in storage? No problem. Pickups are always free.
Yes. Alluster provides damage protection of $.60 per pound of an item's weight, up to $200 per item and up to $1000 total. We also offer additional storage insurance for purchase. Terms and Conditions apply.
We do not insure fragile items or electronics. Please pack any fragile items or electronics appropriately if you decide to store them with us.
Our warehouses are in different locations throughout the Greater Vancouver area. We cannot disclose the exact locations for security and insurance reasons, but all warehouses are equipped with electronic security systems and 24-hour video surveillance.
We ensure the boxes are secure and tamper-proof when our team piicks them up. We also ensure that your belongings are stored in a temperature controlled environment.
All of our team members have been through background checks and have been trained to treat service and security as a priorities.
Items must stay in storage for a minimum of 14 days.
If you have a minimum 3-month plan and need things back before the end of 3 months, we will bill the remaining amount and get your things back to you at your convenience.
